We play tunes that get your feet tapping and put a smile on your face. Weddings, parties, picnics and balls - yep, we do 'em all!
About us
Led by Jim Wright (guitar/banjo), Rhythm Deluxe is a five-piece band playing a wide range of music - jazz, rhythm & blues, rock & roll, and country - for crowds at events across the UK. Most of our gigs are in northern England, but we're always open to venturing further...
Playing alongside Jim are Frank Brooker (saxophone /clarinet), Andy Henderson (trumpet/flugelhorn), Phil Kampen (double bass), and Paul Smith (drums/washboard) - all musicians of the highest calibre, with many (!) years of experience.
We started our band in 1992 and although there have been some changes in personnel, our musical philosophy has stayed the same - playing entertaining music that appeals to a wide range of musical tastes and puts a smile on people's faces.
